Product Description The college years are a time of noble pursuit of knowledge, self-betterment -- and unending peril! Students are at risk from the moment they receive their acceptance letters. Fortunately, the authors of the phenomenally best-selling Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook series have come to the rescue, offering all-new, hands-on, step-by-step instructions for surviving the worst that higher education has to offer, on campus and off. Learn how to identify a party school, engineer a hookup, survive "the spins," and escape a stadium riot. Discover the best way to sleep in class, pass a test you haven't studied for, avoid the "freshman fifteen," and pull an all-nighter. With practical advice for avoiding laundry and identifying unsafe institutional food, along with an appendix of excuses for missed deadlines and a back-up diploma, this is truly required reading for all college students -- and a perfect high school graduation present.

good/funny read November 24, 2007 S. Vos (Centralia, WA) I got this for my nephew who just went to college and he has found it very funny. He likes all the survival books and he said that him and his friends at college like this one
Great Book June 3, 2009 K. Reeves (Fort Collins, CO) This is a great high school graduation gift for anyone that's sure to be a hit.
What teachers' don't tell you. April 27, 2004 Latia Johnson (Horsham, Pa) 26 out of 30 found this review helpful
I felt this book was a fairly quick read. I read it in one night. Its funny, and gives you many good tips from how to choose the perfect mattress to how to avoid the walk of shame. A lot of it were some good points how to know if your school is right for you, when are the best days for visiting. If you were to read this book I would reccommend spending an hour at Barnes and Nobles and reading. I mean its good, but that $14 could have been spent somewhere else.
A Good Worst-Case Scenario Book for Your College Student August 23, 2005 Derek White (Kansas City, MO USA) 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
If you've never read a Worst-Case Scenario book before, read one. Each one is highly irreverent in its own way. This one has practical advice like "How to Ask Your Parents for Money" and "How to Avoid Going to the Wrong College", but also has goofy sections like "How to Put Out a Microwave Fire".
Even the goofy sections have practical advice, although hopefully your college student will never have to use it.
These books are a lot of fun. Check out the others, also.
Same Satire, new topic October 28, 2007 Randy Nelson (Ottawa, IL USA) It is a pretty good little book in the same line of other "Worst Case Scenario Guide of...." Nothing spectacular, but if you like the other books, you will enjoy this one.
